Interactive VR Tour of NC State
This project was a collaboration between NC State's Computer Science and Art & Design Departments. We were tasked with creating an interactive, immersive, virtual reality tour that showcased NC State's campus, while also using archival photos to show the history of the campus. The tour was created using the Wonda VR program, and can be viewed in its entirety here.
The VR environments were shot using a Samsung Gear 360° camera. The shots were edited in Adobe After Effects, and exported to Wonda, a program that processes 360° video, and allows text and other assets to be overlaid.
We also created desktop and mobile wireframes. The mobile version is catered towards student use and meant to emphasize the navigational features of the app, including the ability to virtually tour a student's schedule, and pinning locations.
